A major cryptocurrency platform, Ethereum, is developing so rapidly that shortly, it plans to move onto the second phase of the project. The platform has almost exhausted its own potential, so it's time to move on and start launching Ethereum 2.0. Most likely, the plan will start in two weeks. This was stated by the project coordinator, expert Danny Ryan.
Now the company has a lot of work to do, and to make the deadline by the planned dates, they have to work without weekends off. First, a test network will be launched, and after this, the platform will proceed to a full-fledged implementation in an updated form. The words from an expert confirm the above:
"We wouldn't want to run a more integrated test network until we've approved the 0.9 specifications. We'll need another two weeks to do some of the things involved with testing and release updates for the 0.9."
Remember that earlier, the developers noted that they were discussing the possibility of connecting the second and first versions of Ethereum. This compatibility will allow you to easily use the new side of the project, based on prior experience. The head of the company himself, Vitalik Buterin, stressed in his interview that he would like to launch Ethereum 2.0 by the end of 2020. Let's hope the experts are successful and that we will see the updated crypto-platform as soon as possible. Keep up with the cryptocurrency industry news with us, so you don't miss this event.
